We are happy to announce that the 3rd edition of the Academic Track of the Eurofiling XBRL Week will take place in the Warsaw, 29 and 30 May 2018.

Call for Papers <\/h2>\n

The Academic Track is a space for sharing ideas and experiences from established and emerging reporting domains using standards and novel technologies. We are looking for applied research that tries to solve real problems and create an impact on corporate reporting, from data publication, data gathering, data interoperability, analysis and visualisation.
We are pleased to accept any\u00a0work related to the areas of financial and non-financial reporting, which explore new opportunities,\u00a0 challenges and solutions to achieve impact on decision-making processes implementing and consuming XBRL technology. Besides, any work that can add value to the existing corporate information available in XBRL and iXBRL formats\u00a0 (See\u00a0XBRL Open Data<\/a>\u00a0by XBRL International) and its market is welcomed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Submission Guidelines<\/h2>\n

The submissions must be in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling. Each work should clearly indicate the nature of its technical\/scientific contribution and the problems, domains or environments to which it is applicable.
Papers<\/strong>\u00a0may not exceed 15 pages in length and it is recommended to be formatted according to the guidelines for Springer\u2019s author instructions:\u00a0http:\/\/www.springer.com\/computer\/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0<\/a>
Extended abstracts<\/strong>\u00a0may not exceed 500 words.
Posters<\/strong>\u00a0should be submitted as extended abstracts and be no more than 500 words. Poster size: Portrait A1 (841mm High x 594mm Wide)

Each group organises internally their work, structure and chairmanship at their own convenience, in a consensus-based approach.
