Trial towards realizing the ultimate use of XBRL for Regtech<\/h2>\n

XBRL has become a key element for Regtech. However, the lack of suitable technology has prevented regulators from effective use of XBRL data. In this session, we will introduce the latest challenges to develop a revolutionary breakthrough to realize ultimate use of XBRL potential and then observe the cost reduction process within regulators\u2019 business flow. Some future view of AI application for regulatory purpose will be also introduced and enhance the audiences\u2019 imagination towards the future Regtech<\/p>\n

Yoshiaki Wada joined the Bank of Japan in 1882, and had worked for Statistics and Economic Research Department, IT System Department, Secretariat for Policy Board, Financial System and Bank Supervision Department. In 2010, he joined NTT DATA Corporation, and currently works for the development of new financial technologies including XBRL and XML in the Digital Strategy Section. He was a member of the Board of Directors of XBRL International, and has been the Chair for the XBRL Asia Round Table.<\/p>\n

Eurofiling provides a collaborative environment, being since 2005 an open meeting place for Regulators, Supervisors, Entities from both the public and private sector, such as financial institutions, providers, academic and private individuals around the following central theme: European and National Regulatory Reporting and the financial ecosystem; improving collaboration and awareness to leverage interoperability; together.<\/p>\n

XBRL Europe has been set up to foster European XBRL efforts and to implement common XBRL projects in Europe between its members and to liaise with European Authorities and organizations. XBRLEurope is also governed by its Executive Committee under the supervision of the General Assembly. The Executive Committee as the managing body of the Association, is responsible for the management and administration of the Association.<\/p>\n
