These are the European Banking Authority (EBA), the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). The aim is to identify areas where the effectiveness and efficiency of the ESAs can be strengthened and improved. A general review of the ESAs is foreseen for this year and mandated by their founding Regulations.
